Assist in preparing technical documents for custom product configurations. Responsible for creating technical drawings using engineering software programs, tolerance analysis, manufacturing process selection, material selection and provide approved material lists for procurement. Create Bills of Materials for product configuration based on customer requirements and new product development. Provide 3D modeling, in addition to, populating and maintaining engineering requirements. Coordinate customer product requirements with manufacturing. Involve in product design, development, prototyping and testing for air terminal units, lab control air valve, DOAS and fan powered air supply units, and air handling unit. Design packaged air terminal units with assembled hydronics package with coil, piping, preprogrammed controller meeting ASHRAE and AHRI design standards for streamlined operation. Perform product selection of VAV units, hydronic valves, reheat and cooling coils, electric heaters, fans, sound attenuated boxes by analyzing zone temperatures, heating and cooling load, hot water flow rate, water and air conditions and various manufacturer recommended software’s. Responsible for transitioning from development phase to Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DFMA) phase. Troubleshooting problems related to product and BOM categories, sales order in SAGE X3. Provide engineering support to sales, production, and operation team. Must be comfortable in using the following Design tools: Autodesk inventor with vault, REVIT MEP, ASHRAE 130-2016, SMACNA handbook. Master's in Mechanical Engineering and 6 months of work experience in HVAC Systems and Manufacturing.
